Science
- The
Galileo Project is a
source of information on the life and work of Galileo Galilei
(1564-1642) and the science of his time. It's a resource for those
who are interested in science (including astronomy, optics,
mechanics, and even the science of music), history, religion and
more. There are glossaries, maps, timelines, searchable databases,
student experiments (based, of course, on Galileo's work) and lots
of text-based information. The folks are Rice University have
designed an effective homepage as your starting point.
